GOD IS A GOD OF ORDER
Sometimes we ask God for a blessing while resisting the order required to sustain it.
We want the marriage without learning submission and communication.
We want the business without developing discipline.
We want influence without developing character.
We want the platform without developing private integrity.
But God is not just interested in giving you things. He is interested in preparing you to carry them.
1 Corinthians 14:40 says, “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
There is a time for preparation.
A time for building.
A time for dating.
A time for marriage.
A time for leadership.
A time for expansion.
And sometimes our frustration comes because we are trying to force ourselves into a season God hasn't opened yet.
Think about David. He was anointed king long before he actually sat on the throne. The oil came before the position.
That waiting period mattered.
God was developing the man who would eventually carry the crown.
So don't despise the season where you're learning.
Don't rush into relationships because you're lonely.
Don't launch something because you're impatient.
Don't force doors because you're afraid God won't open another one.
Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”
Make your plans.
Dream big.
Be ambitious.
But leave room for God to redirect you.
Because sometimes God's “not yet” is protection.
Sometimes His closed door is mercy.
And sometimes the delay is actually preparation.
Divine order may feel slow, but disorder will always cost you more.
